Foul ball!

Last night, one of Rachel's coworkers kindly invited us to the Cincinnati Reds game. He had a few extra tickets, and we were more than happy to put a few bums in those empty seats.

We were especially happy when we realized those empty seats were directly behind home plate.

Ta ta ta.

We are used to sitting waaaaay up in the nosebleed section so this was quite an upgrade!

Sometime during the 7th inning (give or take an inning), a foul ball flew up into the air, right above our seats!

I immediately threw my arms over my head for protection while everyone else threw their hands up to catch the ball.

And guess who was the proud receiver of the foul ball?

Rachel.

The two of us appeared on the jumbo screen- Rachel holding up the coveted ball and me still cowering with my arms over my head.

So so typical.
